Looking for both full-time and remote part-time DevOps/SysAdmin work. Own a company in Portugal so can do both employment and contract work. 20 years of administration experience, before that did programming full-time.
I'm at my best handling server installations and monitoring of small/midsized companies. I can talk non-nerdy to administrative people, have experience with training Linux/hardware/storage and in general do whatever I can to maintain uptime and manageability. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm somewhat lazy so I tend to automate and monitor absolutely everything. I also like statistics so I usually end up managing sales-related graphing and predictions to the joy of administrative people.
Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: Yes, inside EU
Technologies: DevOps, Sysadmin, CI/CD, Linux, server hardware, virtualization, monitoring, automation
