Feels like Musk constantly “threatens to sue” whoever and nothing ever comes of it. Is there ever a follow through? Do we know the rate of threats to lawsuits?

Threatening to sue is the billionaire equivalent of “I’m gonna tell my mom on you!!” Weaponizing an authority to shut down someone he doesn’t like — the actions of a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist.

Not to be pedantic but this sounds substantially different from “there’s a genocide against white people” to me. What are the people in the video actually singing?

Is there confusion about a crowd chanting “kill the whites” at a political rally not being a call for genocide?

If not, why not?

Facebook received the same info as Twitter, looked into it, and rejected it because it had no basis.

Reporters accepted the info from the group without looking into who was funding them or what expertise they might have.

They're basically a dark money group that attacks organizations they don't like, and it's good to see Musk punching back at this nonsense.

Center for Countering Digital Hate monitors several major English language social media sites for hate speech. X (née Twitter) has not been singled out. This is the kind of stuff that supports the argument that nobody should have money that enables making his neuroses everybody's problem. Elon, go to therapy.
