Ew. The owners of the Libreboot name probably have every right to enjoy the endorsement from the FSF/GNU project for years, then completely change their agenda if they wish.
I still think it is a jerk move. I wish that the GNU/FSF had the names GNU Boot, Libreboot, GNU Libreboot, and the 'Libre-' brand (also the 'Free-' and the 'Open-' brands).
But then the page at https://libreboot.at/ is equally jerk, it basically says that they want to have the name, so they create a fork with the same name. (It doesn't even seem alive, and even the webpage is broken, it isn't even an effort to take over the name, rather just to stir some shit.)
