In the current technocratic zeitgeist, the conventional epistemology is completely flipped on its head. The plebs' 'gained knowledge' from observation, inference etc. are always suspect unless it appeals to authority of, and repeats verbatim the views of, the 'unquestionable, beyond reproach' 'scientific' priesthood.

On a more controversial take, consider the deep-seated hate the 'educated' laptop-class 'geniuses' have for those plebs who notice that their children's behavior completely changes after a battery of vaccinations, or indeed how so many people ended up with injuries after taking the 'completely safe' Covid vaccines.
