Corporations are legally recognized to have personhood in the USA. They are also legal entities.

Anyway is a "person" not also a legal entity in some way?

"Legal person" is not the same thing as "person", not even in law.

But to be pedantic, empathy is for those who are capable of expressing empathy in return.
