Could we maybe use a float instead? Say a chimpansee has 0.8 sentiences, GPT 0.2 sentiences ? (I'm not married to those numbers)
That would definitely be an improvement.
Though perhaps measuring on only one ill-defined axis is still a little too simplistic.
(btw. have you used only GPT 3.5, or also GPT 4? )
