Maybe there is a term from quantum physics that can be used here metaphorically, but I think you can safely assume that what you said is probabilistically, true, and probably Stickley true for all other comparable assumptions. It may resolve to be false, when examined closely in that one particular instance, but it doesn't change the fact that they are working extremely hard to maintain a fog of mystery around their scope of capabilities.
