It's very useful to be able to guarantee every person only has 1 account. Things like voting and giveaways only work when people can't make 100 accounts out of thin air.

I mean it's in the digital realm. Whats the difference between making 100 fake accounts and 100 real accounts?

For world coin, one can't really do either since an account is tied to your iris-print

Your argument sounds to me like it's impossible to fake a credit card because the number is attached to the card.
