First, it’s against the rules to imply someone didn’t read the article / watch the video.
Second, it should have been clear by how I referred to him predicting the future I did indeed watch the talk.
Finally, the talk centers around the downfall of a language and the comment I responded to applauds the accuracy of the talk. Meanwhile javascript has only risen in prominence to be one of the most used languages. There’s nothing wrong with the talk, it was funny and interesting, but reality moved in the exact opposite direction of what the speaker wished would have happened.
