I view LLMs as more fundamental - like a programming language, smart phone, or the web itself.

There's no way a single company can fine tune an LLM to meet all the needs of every person on the planet. It would be like expecting a single company to build every website, every app for a phone, etc.

Let the world gnaw and chew on it. See what comes out, and use what you can. It's basically free labor worth billions of dollars.
