Oh no who is going to write the 10 superhero movies for next year? Or the 3 movies about World War 2? We desperately need the United States and its entertainment industry to keep us all going.

What was your favorite movie or show with a union writer last year? What was your favorite movie or show with a non-union writer last year? Which do you think is of greater cultural value?

Hollywood released several hundred movies and TV shows last year. Only a tiny handful of them, released by two studios out of dozens, were about superheroes.

If you only know about the 10 superhero movies that says more about your limited tastes than it does about the moviemaking industry.
