Where are masking and vaccination being required outside of healthcare settings in the US or Europe? In fact, I just got back from a European event and the organizers were advised by their lawyer that they couldn't require vaccinations given the current rules in the host country.
(That said, I'm sympathetic to people with health issues that mean they feel they can't really participate in reopened society.)

Relaxing precautions is going to cause people to avoid places where unmasked, unvaccinated jackassery is likely. I participate where needed. But people who won't get vaccinated or mask up in a crowd are making a stupid bet with their health, in which they don't deserve whatever luck they have had so far. Even less do they deserve to choose to raise everyone else's risk.

Hey man, I hope you're able to feel better about this soon.
I'm not a waiter and I don't need any sympathy, just making an observation.
As it is, I'm gambling with my health going places where masking and vaccination are not supported, much less enforced. I'll gamble with the right group of people for a special dinner out, but I won't gamble casually with people who don't care.
Before COVID, the relevant number for food risk was about 3000 deaths per year in the US. In some places restaurants have to post the rating they got from an inspection. 260,000 people died of COVID in the US last year and you worry about "playing restriction police?"
