In contrast though, she had a surgical operation last year (in the US). The hospital refused to give her antibiotics immediately following the operation, saying she probably wouldn't need it. This was shocking for her - and the surgical site actually did end up getting mildly infected.
What does fiber do for your body, it helps you poop? Carnivores rarely need to poop and when we do it is very small. Our body absorbs and can make use of every bit of the animals we consume.
The body is designed to use animals for fuel and has done so for millennia. I even eat the bones by making a broth every day when I eat. Whose body is happier.. your body trying to make bone from leaves or my body using the collagen from the broth to make bone? I need no fiber to help me poop.
Your leaves are trash , it is trying to poop it all out and it cant even do that because there is so much trash it is clogging up your intestines. The only reason your gut seems healthy with plants is because your biome is full of plant eating bacteria due to your past mistakes. Without plants you get sick now as that bacteria is dying off. I doubt your ancestors had a bad gut and required fiber or they were constipated one day vs shitting in ditches most of the next day feeling nauseous , no they hunted and ate meat and there was none of this "where do you get fiber from" ...
I know gut biomes must be different but they must be orders of magnitude more different than I assumed. I don't know what else would explain a little dose nuking people's gut biomes, while we experience absolutely nothing.
Of course, going on them for years is pretty different from a course of a week or two, and different antibiotics will have different effects.
That said, I wonder what their IBS rates are like. That can't be great for their gut biome.
