Nearly every male at my hick school smoked in the bathroom and drank to excess too. Nearly every male at my school was anti-academic and slacked off in class.

Meanwhile I busted ass, never smoked as a minor, and got a full ride into college despite going to a bumfuck semi-rural public school and having parents that made "too much" for a need-based scholarship. So what's your point? If something is popular you have to do it?

Yes I have a child, no I don't give a flying fuck what the other children are doing. If my kid wants to get a job, then fine they can buy whatever non-illegal thing they want. I won't be facilitating it. All the other kids can be making fun of how poor my kid is or whatever, meanwhile I'm busy stuffing their college savings account.
