If TikTok should be banned, we should also ban Facebook, Google, and pretty much all other American companies that collect user data and telemetry.

IMHO this TikTok is nothing but paranoia about something that is not American-made/owned. Had TikTok been a company based in the US, there would be zero talks about banning anything.

Some people in America are banging the "we want a war"-drum, and as part of this, they make everything Chinese scary. I am not afraid of TikTok. I am so scared of that hidden American military agenda. These people have before invented a war out of thin air (Iraq), and it looks like they are back at work again. I guess it is like that when you base a large part of a nations economy on the military.

I know this is an unpopular opinion and will cost some karma in downvotes, but someone has to say this.
