We live in Manhattan and the whole point is that playgrounds, parks, ball fields, school, gyms, pools, ice cream shops, play spaces, restaurants and all sorts of activities are within a five to ten minute walk. Literally all 250 kids at the nearest school live within a five minute walk of it. The only times we go in buses it's for sightseeing.
