How do you end up as a highly visible Economics writer at the NYTimes literally straight out of undergrad?
Are you seriously suggesting there were no PoC who were qualified? I know hundreds, thousands possibly of more educated more eager economics majors, phds, practitioners should kill for a NYT Econ writing role. I myself tried for a decade and couldn't as much get an interview despite far better qualifications.
