OK I would also choose the streets before giving up my animals, I definitely aint judging here if someone chooses to live on the streets. But other than the curfew I've seen all these apply to actual paid rental units I've rented in the past.

At the end of the day you're getting housing on somebody else's dime. Follow their rules, buy them out and put the property in your name, or GTFO.
