Despite some sleigh-of-hand employed by another commenter, incel forums are focused on blaming women and other men for their misfortunes, while in reality, it's some combination of bad luck, poor social skills, unreasonable standards, or toxic personalities.

There are enough women for every man, but it's entirely possible too aim too high or otherwise voluntarily exclude yourself from the pool. The internet likely makes it worse, because if your dating pool is your neighborhood / school / workplace, people calibrate their expectations reasonably. If you can all of sudden date the entire world, things get weird.
