Because of a lot of meaninless meetings i left my previous job. As a developer i love to get paid for developing widgets not for talking shit on calls

I always think about how electricians, plumbers, janitors, other such roles don't do this bullshit. Why is it that businesspeople can force software engineers to engage in their pointless warring corporate factions? Something's gotta give.
