I've been less focused on what we do and more focused on look and feel up until now. When I'm happy with the overall look then I'll focus on the message that we convey. To answer your question, Staff Squared is a SaaS web app that helps small to medium sized businesses better manage their people.

I don't think this is an ideal design process. Start with what you want to say, and how you want to make what is essentially a persuasive argument. Maybe that most effectively takes the form of bullet-points or paragraphs. Maybe the best set of testimonials is actually 3 rather than 6.
In my opinion, it's better to figure out exactly what you need to say/show to meet your goals, and then figure out the best way to display that content. Right now, we're critiquing an abstraction that will eventually have a very focused purpose, so the feedback isn't likely to be but so relevant to that purpose.

That makes sense I suppose. I note though that you still haven't described what the application actually does: 'better manage their people' could mean a lot of things. I'm sure you'll get to that though ;).

Thanks :)
The category it's competing in (and thus its feature set) is not obvious to me (a 21yo professional software developer working remotely for an SF company).
