Wear appropriate clothes. Do not wear Converse sneakers when it is raining outside (or alternatively, have a pair of shoes at the workplace that you switch to once you are in, or whatever). Take a shower before work. Apply a deodorant, or an antiperspirant (the latter has different instructions, you apply them after shower, before sleep, and wash it off in the morning).
