I think my biggest issue with Podman on Mac was the time shift over a few days, no matter which solution I tried.

Lima just works.

I spend some time last week to get Colima to work on my Macbook but eventually gave up after Homebrew tried to pull in some Docker.dmg and a lot of other provlems. Maybe I did something wrong.
