They never said they would blow it up thats a mischaracterisation of what was actually said.

Oh please, who in Europe would even dare to shift the narrative towards regarding US as an enemy? Almost nobody in the whole world is THAT crazy. Definitely not in Europe - when was the last time they did (or even said) anything against the US?

They'll just blame Russia and everyone will forget that the US was even a suspect in just a few years.
