It's not like - it Is. The DHS should have never been created at all. It's one of several examples of dangerous reactionary responses to a tragedy that needed long-term, systemic solutions - not a new set of bureaucratic government agencies perpetuating old forms of fascist-leaning policies and bumbling through security theatrics.
