What’s their source for this? I can believe Elon being that stupid but still just seems like hearsay right now.

Especially since Elon himself tweeted in 2019, in response to someone asking him how many LoC went into a Tesla:

“The less code, the better! 1 point for adding a line of code, but 2 points for deleting a line. Bloatware is the devil.”
