You should vote your interests in 2022. What white liberals want for Christmas is a system of race-based patronage, and that’s not something that will be good for Asians. Prop 16 failed, but that won’t stop them. And the only thing standing in their way is Republican judges. Sorry but that’s the facts of life.

There is another solution to this: inflation. As inflation eats away at income, assets and savings, true merit & productivity will be the only thing that matters. Look at big tech earnings today and the reaction in the stock market. Big tech can increase their EPS any time they want by shedding 50% of their workforce.
We're no where near such draconian decisions. But if we get there, the decisions will be based entirely on the financial contribution of an employee/team/project/department to the company's bottom line. I don't believe tribal/race/group affiliation will matter.

I think you’re correct that will happen in the near term. But what happens when the economy gets better? If the economy is good when my daughter applies to college, will she have to figure out how productize her grandfather’s upbringing in a Bangladeshi village, in hopes of appealing to some white gatekeeper? Is she going to have to compete for the 5-7% Asian quota at her place of employment? Will she have to hope for a recession to be treated according to her merit?
