Oh, so why did "Korean" and "Vietnamese" pilots suddenly started speaking russian when they were shot down?

USSR directly engaged USA, China did the same in Korean War.

There are already US citizens fighting Russia in Ukraine. As long as there's plausible (or honest) deniability, USA and Russia aren't directly engaging in combat.
