A LOT of companies still do. Every bigger company i've been to here in germany has used it somewhere. Some tried to slowly move to git, most didn't, because svn just works and old people don't want to change

I would not be surprised if there were source control management workflows involving faxing things somewhere here in Germany... sigh.

But hey, at least those workflows are probably ISO 9001 certified! /s
