Why is it marketed specifically for watching porn? What features are specific to that?

A quick glance at the page shows some features that normal "video organizers" don't generally have:

- Metadata scrapers (core + community ones [which, seems to be A LOT of them, see https://github.com/stashapp/CommunityScrapers/tree/master/sc...]) tailored to adult sites

- Videos also have N scenes, which also can be tagged

- Videos (and scenes) have "performers" and tags, rather than just one video file having actors/actresses and categories

- Videos/scenes have markers with tags

Doesn't seem like the feature set (except the scrapers) HAVE to be adult-only, but I guess there is a big audience enough to justify a niche application like this.

That could be nice for audio. I have lots of album rips as single mp3's. It would be nice to have metadata for the tracks inside the mp3 without having to split the mp3 out into separate files.

Seems fine for ordinary video too. Like, tag all the scenes in a Star Trek episode where Mr. Spock appears.

.cue files already handle that for music and every significant media player has supported them for decades

Is mounting cloud storage (Dropbox, Backblaze B2, S3 compatible targets) on the roadmap?

If you could mount those as normal disks in your OS, I don't see why you couldn't already use it as-is.
