Hmm. It is a tough one.
I am closer to your line of thinking than not, but, at the same time, from where I sit, it seems that data monitoring went too far already and regular user has to have a way to circumvent it.
For that reason alone, this tool, even if it will result in some abuse, it just evens out the playing field.
