Ask HN: Is Mac Studio too much for web and mobile development?

My experience with an M1 Air has been more than adequate for moderate rust usage and all around development. The mini is actively cooled and gets an even bigger power budget. I think the studio is way overpowered for your needs and you would be quite happy with a mini (I have a mini for the family PC but I use the air for dev more often)

I would second the recommendation for a Mini. The studio would just be throwing money down the drain.
