"An American far-right activist group Project Veritas released a video purportedly showing..."

Project Veritas has a long history of fabricating charges against their political opponents. They are not a reliable source, and a news outlet that reports their "findings" uncritically is doing a disservice to the public.

They are an extremely reliable source. Every article I have ever read about PV supposedly "selectively editing" never gives an example. But maybe I'm wrong about them, perhaps you can provide me with an example?

It is true that Twitter employees are very left-wing. [1] However, TBH, this is a little bit sus. I searched the name of the "senior engineer", and he doesn't seem to have any presence online.

Maybe it's just a guy capping on a date?

Is this the same Project Veritas that paid someone $10,000 to 'admit' to electoral fraud on a hidden camera? https://www.fox9.com/news/subject-of-project-veritas-voter-f...
