I've never been on a team where developers talk 50% of the time. We have a meeting to prioritize tickets once a week and talk to other devs when necessary.

If I worked at a company where devs were poking me 50% of my day, I'd leave screaming.

Shit, I have—but if you count only productive hours, it's more like 10-20% are talking :-)
