FYI Merriam Webster is among the worst dictionaries. They are highly activist and have redefined words repeatedly to suit the progressive/far-left political platform.

They added systemic oppression of a racial group to the 3 definitions of racism they already had. Do you deny this is a common meaning?

LGBT people objected to sexual preference since the 1980s at least.[1]
