If you post it on a public social network, it’s fair for employer to ask. You can plead the 5th but that’s effectively an elaborate excuse.

I ask contractors if they’re vaccinated before entering my home and they can refuse the job if it bothers them.

No, it isn't. What I post on HN or Reddit is almost never none of my employer's business, either.
