>“Over 285 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through May 24, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 4,863 reports of death (0.0017 %) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.” [3] (the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) is a passive surveillance system managed jointly by the CDC and FDA [3]

How do we know that all or even most of these "events" are not coincidences but were a direct result of the vaccinations? VAERS are self reports, anyone can go and fill out a report and it will show up in the data. Just like FCC comments on net neutrality, no one verifies them.

One way to identify a signal is to compare against other vaccinations. Assuming that a vaccine doesn't cause some symptom, all vaccines should have the same incidence of that symptom.

Keep in mind that this is the same data that the FDA uses to estimate risk/reward of vaccinations. Submitting a fraudulent VAERS report is a felony and there is no evidence that such abuse is occurring at a wide scale.

If anything, there is likely significant under-reporting. This study identified 10x as many cases of Myocarditis as the FDA estimated based on VAERS data:

This is nonsense. They say there have been 5k deaths after taking the vaccine then say trust us it's 100 to 200 times higher. The vaccine is killing more people then covid! This trash article doesn't belong on hn.

A novel best-case scenario cost-benefit analysis showed very conservatively that there are five times the number of deaths attributable to each inoculation vs those attributable to COVID-19 in the most vulnerable 65+de-mographic. The risk of death from COVID-19 decreases drastically as age decreases, and the longer-term effects of the inoculations on lower age groups will increase their risk-benefit ratio, perhaps substantially.

Because we have wagered our entire society on the idea that the unvaccinated are a threat to the vaccinated.

Because they are the ones who spread this disease.

The risk / reward of giving children the Pfizer vaccine really doesn’t make any sense.
