I keep telling people that YouTube Premium is the most cost effective membership there is, and they look at me like I'm crazy. Since I got it YouTube has become a service I genuinely love.

This. No ads is great, but the big surprise was the ability to download videos on my device and bring it with me when traveling. It's one of those features I didn't know I wanted until I had it, now I can't see myself not having it.

Definitely worth it. I'm glad to have had my YT Red / Google Play Music subscription grandfathered into YT Premium / YT Music Premium for the original price.
