    mkdir new_project && cd new_project
    git init .

Add the project to gitolite.conf

  git remote add origin [email protected]:new_project.git
  git push origin master
  git config branch.master.remote origin
  git config branch.master.merge refs/heads/master

Without need for the configs:

  git push -u origin master
