Re:Ask HN: Alternative to Speedify? How does it work? by beepo on Saturday May 08, 2021 @01:56PM (#27089352)
As someone who used it in RV for years I've yet to find an alternative, poor naming though as it offers more than bonding. Ulive seems to be similar but it uses FEC to achieve bonding and redundancy at the same time however RTT is very high, it is optimized for streaming not general internet usage AFAIK, and it needs equal RTT, usually used with multiple LTE connections.Speedify seems to be a cheap SD-WAN. Good post! But what do you mean by nDPI? The ntop tool? I'm also interested in alternative, no p2p allowed for US servers :/

Have you tried the multi tcp feature? It should solve the bandwidth issue with Amsterdam servers (torrenting allowed). Yes from ntop regarding nDPI.
