Ask HN: What 'dark' website should everyone know about

there are many websites that can't be accessed through conventional browsers. There are known as dark websites. Most people are entirely unaware of their existence. What i want to know is if you know of any dark websites that offer a service that everyone would find useful

Guessing you mean tor hidden services but are not trying to say it out loud? There's also I2P.

A conventional browser I use automatically redirects me to hidden services for the New York Times and Protonmail all the time, so I guess that ship has sailed.

If you want a listing of hidden services just go to https://dark.fail - no tor browser necessary. People who talk about "hidden wiki's" have no clue about what they are saying and are directing you to scam sites.

Hidden Wiki is the name of the main wiki that uses onion link. It's not a scam and I've visited it every couple years for a decade, though there are several scam sites like that.
