If you’re getting interviews but no offers try changing how you interview. Keep your answers short and always connect to business value. Say, “For example...” a lot. Also, if you think they are making biased decisions from the video, tell them you keep video off until after you can meet in person.

I've been turning my video off lately. It actually seems to go better when I do. Maybe I'm that ugly.

I _am_ that ugly, and don't do video...period

I just say I don't have a camera, but I have a headset and so far, no-one has complained.
