Hey Hacker News, I am the developer of this app. It’s my first macOS Cocoa app. This is a Mac first app which means it is built for the Mac, not an afterthought and taking advantage of the design language, frameworks and the platform.

It is also not a port of an iPhone nor iPad app and not a Catalyst app or a cross-platform app like Electron, Java etc. It is a true native AppKit app written in Swift.

I have plans to improve it. It’s only a humble beginning.

I would love to know what you think about it. I welcome all kinds of feedbacks.

I like it! More UI customizations would be nice, like changing the font family and size.

EDIT: also being able to pin a story to the sidebar would be excellent.

About pinning a story, do you mean a dedicated bookmarks section to store all your favourite stories?

More like I want to come back later and read more comments but I don't want to have to scroll or search for the story again.
