Isn’t it really the semi industry unwilling to invest because they don’t want to get burned just a couple of years down the road. I just don’t see this demand lasting.

Why don't they see demand lasting? They think Moore's law is going out with a bang?

A lot of the demand is induced from work-from-home and lockdowns. When they end, so will the demand.
