Yes, I was living rural (trying to write my dissertation without distractions) and 45min was wonderfully close! My mail was most of a mile away, and the closest "convenience store" was ~5 miles. I never thought I would say that I loved being "near" a 24hr walmart (it was also where the farmers market was held), but after 6 months you learn how important that is. I will say that the ability to buy RAM, HD, Monitor, etc along with groceries at 3am (with a 30day return warranty) was also pretty amazing.

Try getting more RAM in SiliValley or SF at 3am today!
