I was in the Navy in the 70's serving aboard a now de commissioned nuclear cruiser. During the fuel crisis we were kept at sea for crazy stretches. I found that after 10 days or so I could have stayed out forever. The first 1 to 2 weeks were misery but after that time didn't actually exist as days or weeks, just watch rotation and preventative maintenance work schedule.

This guy has about 100 days on them all by himself back in 1968. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Moitessier

It's like a real-life version of The Last Ship.
