That's great, and I'm glad that works for you. Allowing 3rd-party app stores would not require you to install and use them. But it would offer more choice -- and likely lower prices -- for people who do want that choice.

The only issue becomes if companies stop listing their apps on Apple's main app store, and if you want it, you have to install their 3rd-party store. If that starts happening, I bet Apple will react appropriately, and make it more attractive to developers to list on their app store. Y'know, how healthy competition is supposed to work.
