Also using a Pixelbook here. Interestingly last time I had to reboot for update it spent a long time reprogramming the firmware in the touchpad. I wonder if this means that Google develops the touchpad firmware or if they just ship vendor firmware. Either way, I agree it works perfectly and the correspondence between my gesture and the animation of the display is perfect.

It's so smooth, the lack of lag when you're scrolling is just perfect. The hardware helps, of course, but I have the same smooth scrolling on very dated hardware to which I installed Chrome OS, too.
