wait, what? so if they are ignoring wayland wont default ubuntu users on gnome not get these benefits? seems odd to do all the surveys and research but not actually check what distro/compositor respondents use?

from the article, apparently Wayland display servers already support multi-touch gestures.

Ubuntu, as of 20.04, is using X by default.
