Is your idea medical related? I was in that world on the sales/strategy end for a few years. I'm applying today at YC for a non-medical related startup, that I programmed.

Well you can't start a biotech in your garage. I was more passionate about creating SOMETHING than I was tied to any particular field.

With that, I cracked open a few books and started coding.
